Everything! A dream apartment! A car! A beautiful wife! A daughter due next month! Fancy clothes and (sniffs air) free pizza for dinner! And do you deserve any of it? No!
I'm saying you're what's wrong with America, Mitchell. You coast through life, you do as little as possible, and you leech off of decent, hardworking people. Heh, if you lived in any other country in the world, you'd have starved to death long ago.
You're a fraud. A-- a total fraud.
He's got you there.

Everyone else was posting on here, so I decided that I would take the time to write something.
Nikki and I are just about to finish moving into our new apartment. Luckily it is just across the hall. It's twice as big as our old one with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms AND a fireplace. All that's really left is to organize our bedroom and the nursery. Internet/Cable/Phone will be on Tuesday.
Speaking of nursery, little baby Harley is quite squirmy and is due in less than a month. According to sonograms and the like she's about 6 pounds right now and will be bursting forth somewhere around the 8th of July. I built her super swing last night. It plays lots of music, swings in 3 different directions, has a moving mobile, and starry light show that shines on a veil around the seat. If only they made them in adult sizes. My mom is coming up to be here for the baby on the 26th and then again with my father at the end of July. I'll make it a point to post pictures and stuff on facebook when the time comes.
With baby and moving a constant on my mind, the end of the school year snuck up on me just like Silent Rip. Friday is my last day of actual teaching for the 08-09 school year. I signed my contract for next year and finally got my actual teaching license that will need to be renewed in 2014. I really enjoyed this school year and definitely think that I have grown by leaps and bounds in my trade over the past year. I already have ideas and things I want to try and implement for next school year. Next week I have to go into to work on Mon-Wed just to clean up and wrap up grades. Then it's summer time until September. :D
On the videogame front I've been all over the place. World of Warcraft has become somewhat stagnant for me. I enjoy socializing with guildmates, but the drive to raid has waned slightly and I find myself only doing one or two runs a week. I still very much enjoy the game, but I've been very distracted by console games as of late. I'm just about to polish off FF1 Anniversary Edition for PSP and very soon I'll be picking up FFIV : After Years on Wii DL. Punchout is classicly good. Infamous was spectacular and just a pleasure to play through. Cross Edge was slightly disappointing, but not horrible. Eternal Sonata and FFVII that I DL'd from PSN beckon me to play them. Other than FFIV : AY, Blazblue from the creators of Guilty Gear is the only game I'm getting this month. I eagerly await Batman Arkham Asylum and Final Fantasy Dissidia which both come out around Aug/Sept.
I think that's about everything. It might be over a year before I update this again, but I can at least say that I did today. Is Twitter good? Y/N

I haven't updated this thing in forever and it's not for a lack of things that are going on. :O
First, I'm finally married to Nikki. :D We got "hitched" in front of a colonial courthouse in Leesburg. There were lots of squirrels and it was quite pretty outside. People keep asking me what married life is like...it's a lot like engaged for 4 years life. The only difference is I have a cool black titanium wedding band and I can call Nikki my wife. :) It was very happy making and we are planning on having an actual ceremony sometime very soon when people and family can actually come. :o I'll keep people informed.
Secondly, Nikki is pregnant. :O That's right! She has a little grain of rice inside of her and it's very very exciting. I've been playing with other people's babies for so long that now I finally get a chance to play with my own and that's just amazing. :) We've been wanting this for a long time. Everyone, including us, wants it to be a girl so let's hope. I wouldn't mind having a boy though.
Thirdly, I'm back in Jacksonville for the next week. It's nice knowing that I'm just sitting here typing and some substitute is doing my job for me while I get paid. I got to see my very small, very cute nephew Max. He likes to stare at things like lamps and fly. He is a very squeaky and cute baby.
I like Disco, she's a very lovey cute kitty. It's sad she makes Nikki's nose all stuffy. It's nice to play PS3 with my brother and eat delicious foods. I'm looking forward to having an awesome thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.
It's not too long until Armageddon PPV. When I get back to VA, I'm going to get the time off and train tickets for the trip. THEN it will be X-mas. Lots of stuff going on until January.
Until next time, PREGNANT. :D

...Uncle Mitchell?
Indeed. I'm now officially an uncle. My brother's son was born last night at about 9:30. Unfortunately, being 13 hours away I was unable to be nearby. But I was sent many pictures and I can already tell he has my brother and I's squished nose. :O
In more good news, I shall be visiting Sir Logan for the extended Columbus Day weekend. I will be leaving Friday afternoon and departing sometime on Monday in the afternoon. There will be much gaming, catching up, and good times. I'm quite excited as I have not seen Logan since July/August last year.
I've already mentioned this in my facebook and to anyone who will listen, but....Nintendo DSi = pooptoad. Nintendo has really slipped in my view ever since the E3 announcement of no real solid games and the Wii-Motion Plus. I haven't given up on Nintendo, but with a Castlevania fighting game being one of the BIGGER titles of note in the "near" future. I'm sad. Punch Out for the Wii is a glimmer of hope.
I didn't mention this last entry, but Fallout 3 is also on my need to get list.
Bionic Commando : Rearmed will keep me occupied until Friday. :D
I love this time of the year. It just makes me happy. The weather is getting colder and all sorts of fun holidays and stuff are on the horrizon. I might be heading down to Florida for Thanksgiving to see the nephew.
Horray for things still going well. :)
Until next time, cinemassacre is doing a neat godzilla movie summary rundown.

Poor SuperNintendo Chalmers and his Honda H.
Time for the random updates of the goings on in my life. This week is the halfway point of the first term this year. It has gone by pretty darn fast. I have an extra prep this year since I have all the ESL History classes, but I've managed. It keeps me a little busier at work which makes the day go by faster. :D The students this year are nice and I like the atmosphere/environment of all my classes. My first holiday is Columbus Day which isn't too far off. I'm also looking forward to Halloween because Nikki and her mom usually do some cool decorations and party things.
On the videogame front, I'm excited that Wrath of the Lich King is very soon. Only about 6 weeks until it is released. In the meanwhile, I've finished the 2nd episode of SBCG4AP and Megaman 9. After beating MM9 I decided to play my way through the classic ones. I'm currently halfway through Megaman 4 as I type. Nikki and I have been enjoying the fuck out of LEGO : Batman. It's so cute and Batman-y. Little Big Planet and Bioshock for PS3 are the next big games on my list of purchases. I'm thinking about getting Sonic Chronicles if it turns out to be decent. No Wii Music for me unless something really sways my initial impressions of it.
Let's see....Nikki and I bought Avatar : The Last Airbender Season 3 boxset a little while back. I need to watch the last 4-5 episodes of the series which I have been stupidly neglecting. We also picked up Birds of Prey which falls into the category of so corny and bad that it's funny and awesome. Oracle is pretty hot yo.
Oh yeah, we collected all of the LEGO : Batman toys from McDonalds which is cool. Fuller and I started our own fantasy wrestling league which should be pretty fun if it works out as well as we hope it does.
We had Peruvian food last night. I had cow heart which was pretty yummy and some good steak with yucca. I also bought some new work clothes at Old Navy which were on sale. Saved $70! Woo!
The only upcoming trip I have planned is Buffalo towards the end of December to see Fuller and Myisha. I'd like to make my way West to see Loganus and others if I can squeeze it in somewhere. I know I most likely could Spring Break, but maybe there will be an opening somewhere before that.
I think that's about it. Things as usual are pretty awesome, just like Nikki.
Until next time, sorry it's not in packets.

Time for my random update!
I have just returned from my first day of teaching summer school. It's kind of a drag going from doing nothing to actually teaching. But I get paid about $170 a day for 4 hours of work along with my usual paycheck that I get. So it makes for some solid currency. I have to teach 2 classes. One of them is an ESL beginner's social studies class which I did during the regular school year. The other class is an intermediate ESL english course that I'm just going to do the book Holes. It's amusing because I read the book Holes when I was in middle school.
Fuller and Myisha's visit a little while ago went really well. I had a great time having them here. We pretty much did everything we could have wanted to do. From minigolf to Smithsonian museum trips, there was even a firework show you could see from my balcony and there was much delicious food eatings. After summer school Nikki and I are about 90% sure of going to the Cleveland area to stay with her dad for a little while and also hang out with Fuller and Myisha while they are there. :D There's also a Buffalo trip in the works this December to see another wrestling ppv and stay for a bit longer than last year. I hope to see sir Logan at some point too!
I beat Metal Gear Solid 4 and it was everything I had hoped it would be and more. It's a triumph of story telling, gameplay, and especially graphics. It was worth buying a PS3 just to experience that game. Having played through all 4 of them it has to be my favourite series of games ever. After I beat my pile of games I have in front of me, I think I'm going to play through all the games again.
I conquered Ratchet and Clank : Future and I'm at about hour 35 of Persona 3 : FES. Persona has been wonderful and very addictive. The mix of RPG and Simulation elements are very nicely done. I have Final Fantasy Tactics : A2 and The World Ends with You still on my plate with Final Fantasy IV the remake on DS reserved for the 21st of this month. :D So lots of videogames still to play. I also have to finish GTA4 at some point and Lego Indiana Jones. As if I didn't have enough games to play already I think the new Strong Bad game comes out this Monday. :)
I bought my first Blu-Ray DVD yesterday, Batman - Gotham Knight, we'll see if it really makes a difference in quality on my regular tv. But it will all pay off soon when I finally purchase a nice huge HD screen television sometime in the near future. Frisky Dingo - Season 1 boxset is awesome too.
Tonight Nikki and I will be watching Hellboy II - The Golden Army and then going to this Irish resturant we've never been to call O'Faolins. I'm quite excited to do both. This weekend I have some planning to do for summer school. I've practically planned out all of the Social Studies stuff and I suspect the English will go just as fast.
Things are swell. :)
Until next time, everyone has the same atavistic desire of mindlessly passing on one's seed! It's enough to make me sick!

As I update this there are only 1.5 days of teaching left this school year and then I will have officially finished my first year of teaching. It went by so fast that now looking back, it just seems like a blur of activity. I honestly love the work I do and the fact that I enjoy it so much is a lot of why it went by at the rate it did. In this year alone I know I've grown quite a bit in my craft. I've become much more streamlined at pacing of lesson plans and just interacting with students. I greatly anticipate seeing my students again and getting new ones. I will miss my 8th grades very much and the students who won't come back next year. I will miss some more than others, but as a whole I had a very nice 8th grade group of students.
I decided I would congrats myself on finishing my first year as a teacher so I bought an 80gig Playstation 3 / Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle along with GTA4, Lego : Indiana Jones, and Smackdown vs Raw 2008. :) So far I've not been let down by my purchase. Metal Gear has far and away the best graphics I have ever seen in my life. They are so good that I wanted to cry. The gameplay is very good and so far the story has not let me down in any kind of way. The Wii is a lovely system for multiplayer and the occasional Nintendo classic remake and the PS3 is just a solid single player experience. Inspite of what Nikki says...I WILL NOT BUY AN XBOX 360. That is all.
On Thursday Fuller and Myisha will be arriving. I'm very excited to see them again as it has been almost 6 months since I last saw them in Buffalo. There is plenty to do and eat and play while they are here. 4 days to go!
Getting paid for doing nothing this summer is such a nice thought. Although I will be doing some Summer School teaching starting July 14th until August 1st. It will pad my account quite nicely for only 4 hours of work a day. I think with those funds that Nikki and I will purchase a fancy flat screen HD television. It's something I've wanted for a while for our place.
I recently got the beginning of July opened up on my schedule and the beginning of August is also free. I might try to attempt some kind of trip to West Virginia or Florida. We shall see! Things are great, I'm ever so thankful for my situation as usual. Nikki rules, job rules, apartment rules, friends rule. <3
Until next time, Jon and Kate Plus Eight is my guilty pleasure.

So the school network decided to randomly block LJ so I can't post at work...that's why my post count has drastically dropped. I was on a streak too dammit. :T
Today was the last day of the 1 semister of school. It's kinda crazy to think I'm already halfway through my first year of teaching. So far it's gone very well and I'm still very pleased to be working at my school. I'm also very happy it's the weekend. :) It's been midterms and grades the past 2 weeks and I could use a little rest.
My birthday is so less than a month away. I'm very happy about that. I'm strongly considering buying one of those fancy really expensive giant HD thin screened televisions. :) I'm going to check the market once I actually see how much I've saved and get for the B-Day.
Spring Break creeps forward and I'm starting to get excited about that too.
Smash Brothers Brawl and the new Ace Attorney are on the horrizon! In WoW news I've become the epitome of hybrid paladin. My gear for healing, tanking, and dps is solid. Currently I'm tanking something I thought I would never do again. But paladin tanking is much different from warrior tanking, so it's a whole new experience.
I'm on Facebook, never thought that would happen.
Can't really think of much more to write about...things are tip top. Oh yeah, Nikki is awesome and I love her very much. <3
Until next time, why so serious?

Christmas is such a nice holiday. I spent it with Nikki's family as usual and it was a very lovely day. As usual I shall list my various aquisitions. I think I've done this for 3 straight years. So here we go...

I almost forgot how much waking up at 7am sucks compared to sleeping in. It really does. But now I'm at school trying to pick up the pieces from my substitute teacher that was here for the last two days. Apparently he only did a fraction of the work I left for my students. So I have to re-adjust all of my lessons which isn't too hard, just sliding everything down a day and reteaching the lessons I left for him. It's just kind of annoying.
On a happier note, The Buffalo trip was wonderful. I had an excellent time with Fuller and Myisha. I had buffalo wings in Buffalo at the place where they originated. How awesome is that? They blow away any sort of reproduction. We played lots of videogames and it was just awesome hanging out with them again. The PPV was beyond expectations. We got there 3 hours before the show and stood out in what felt like 10 degree weather and snow all so we could get in first. My favourite wrestler won the World Heavyweight Championship during the main event which was just awesome. Only faults were that it was a fuckton of driving and the weather could have been a bit more favourable. I'm going to try and make a routine of seeing at least one PPV a year with them. I can't wait for them to stay with Nikki and I for 2 weeks during the summer. :)
The next trip on the menu is the Marietta Spring Break Adventure 2008 with a possible stop in Salem, WV to visit the Summers' if they are still residing there when I depart.
Only 4 days until my break and I'm very much looking forward to it. I still have a decent amount of shopping to do, but nothing I can't knock out in a day of focused buying. Randall and Logan should be getting their presents this weekend. It's wierd because it really doesn't feel like Christmas is 1 week away exactly. I guess it's due to my extremely busy schedule the last week or so.
I still feel kind of out of it since I've been gone for 4 days, but I think after today I'll get back into the groove.
Until next time, Garmin Nuvi GPS systems are amazing.

I forgot about this thing for a little while. Since I have an extra couple of minutes during this wacky 2 hour delay school day...I decided to update.
Thanksgiving has come and gone. My mom's visit went well and I got some more new furniture in the apartment. Nikki and I got a brand new actual bed, a set of 3 side tables, and this bitching floor lamp that has like tentacles of lights. The turducken I made was decent, but kinda pricey...I think next year I'm going to go with the fried turkey route.
I'm actually sick! Like clockwork every year for the past 3 years I get sick in December and no other time during the year. I'm getting over it currently. The only real problem left is the fact my voice is kind of shot from all the coughing the last 2 days. I can do a funny Henchman 24 impression from Venture Bros with my voice in its current incarnation.
Only one week until I depart for Buffalo to visit with Fuller and Myisha. So hyped. The card for the Armageddon PPV is near perfect with everyone I want to see going to be there. Christmas gifts will be exchanged, lots of new resturants for me to eat at, and all around good times with some of the closest pals. :) Joyous. I'm about halfway done with planning for the next two week and then I don't have to deal with anything planning until January. Christmas Break is from December 21st until January 2nd. Other than that I need to do my X-Mas shopping shortly. If I have an issue about addresses I'll shoot you a electronic postage.
Current trip plans are still to visit Mr.Loganus during Spring Break March 14th-23rd and I'm in the preliminary stages of working out a trip to the Canada sometime this summer to visit friends.
Things have been kinda wacky emotionally with highs and lows, but things appear to be looking up. :) I like how I usually just write one sentence into my actual emotions in my LJ.
Until next time, Apollo Justice is apparently coming out February 2008!

...would foolishly update this foolishly.
I was tagged, as it were, by one Mr.Yong Yu about listing 6 things that have made me happy recently. I have GRACIOUSLY decided to open a window to the inner machinations of my mind to reveal such dark and twisted secrets of my happiness.
1. Having a job as an ESL History teacher at Sterling Middle. I feel like I've left the college world behind me and dashed through the school/career inbetween purgatory very quickly. The thought of getting actual income from doing something I enjoy is a lovely thing.
2. I finally have my own place. The past 5 years have been dormitories and living at other people's houses. Even when I had my "apartment" in Salem...it was pretty much a bigger slightly fancier dorm.
3. Living 5 minutes from about 25+ resturants of all varieties and a sizeable mall. It's like the perfect location for me. There's also an ice rink and movie theatre too!
4. The holiday season quickly approaching. I mentioned it in the last entry or so. I love the autumn weather and all the fun times.
5. Planning out a trip to see Fuller and Myisha in Buffalo and hopefully Sir Logan and Donnie sometime during my Spring Break.
6. After being with Nikki for so many years, still finding it nice to just to be in her company. Even when she pinches and beats me up for no good reason other than she's bored and wants to hear me scream girlishly.
Until next time, good times on WoW and solid videogames such as Phoenix Wright 3 and Zelda would have been numero nana. Katara naked is my secret # too. ;)

...but with seeds.
A wonderful description of removing the innards of a pumpkin and/or autumn gourd. Nikki and I carved out a Trogdor pumpkin and a little pixel man from Peasant's Quest on a smaller gourd. They turned out well. With Nikki doing the difficult S and smaller subsequent S of Trogdor. I kicked the little pixel man's ass. I only had a handful of trick or treaters come to the apartment, but that means more candy for me. :D
Today is the first "final" of the term. I think it's fairly easy. If I see the students are having a ton of trouble, I might give them 3-5 minutes with the book open at the very end of the test. I've updated all of my grades so that I really only need to add these final tests and then I'm done. Which hopefully mean Mon/Tues of next week will just be there for my planning and relaxing without having to teach. One term down...three to go.
I've been having a rollercoaster of highs and lows emotionally, but it's starting to stabilize I think. These next two months are going to be very busy. On the 10th my mom will be coming up here to visit for a week and change so she can spend time with me and celebrate Thanksgiving as well. It'll be really nice to see her again. I appreciate and cherish the idea of being taken in and accepted in Nikki's family undertakings...but I do miss my own family sometimes. About 2 weeks after Thanksgiving break I'll be heading to Buffalo and then 4 days after I get back it will be Christmas break. So wackiness abounds the next bit.
I believe I'm on the final case in Phoenix Wright. It's been terribly hard to not just play it nonstop. It's a wonderful addition to the collection, though I really wish they would add some more of the DS functions like the last case of the first game. I'm eagerly awaiting Sir Logan to hit 60 with his Paladin so I can go retro and play Aughasund, my first character ever, to 70 along side of him. BOOMKIN RET PALADIN COMBO.
"Not much known about the new Transformers animation yet, but it is suppose to be airing in January 2008, starting with its 90 minute movie, on Cartoon Network. Soundwave is going to be in it and instead of him turning into a boombox, he now turns into a Scion xB and his minion Lazerbeak now transforms into a guitar." ........
Until next time, little sewing machines are cool.

...for I am beyond good and evil.
This week has zoomed by with it already being Thursday and all. It's been a slight gong show at school. I've been fine tuning my plans and making sure that everything gets done during the 1.5ish hours I have every other day with the particular classes. "Finals" are Thurs/Fri of next week, then I get 2 work planning days at the school which will be nice to finish off grades and plan for the new units. Reconstruction and an indepth look at Congress are next up on the menu.
I requested for 2 days off in December and they were approved yesterday by the school administration. So I will be with Fuller and Myisha from December 13-17th in Buffalo. Quite excited to see the Armageddon PPV in Pittsburgh with them and have a slight Christmas party as well. The tickets for the ppv have already been purchased and our accommodations in Pitt are pretty much a done deal as well. :) Less than 2 months away!
It's kinda nutty that next month is Thanksgiving and then Christmas is right around the corner. This has to be my absolute favourite part of the year even when I didn't have the teachery holidays that I do now. Something about the weather and all the eventful stuff going on makes for rampant happiness. This weekend Nikki's mom is having a Halloween party and it should be fun. :D My mum and dad are most likely coming up here to VA sometime next month to visit me and see my apartment. It'll be nice to see them after a few months instead of once every couple years like in college.
I picked up Phoenix Wright 3 yesterday. The first case was completed last night and it was a good one, albeit a little easy overall. I'm very excited to start the second one when I get home today. Then I need to finish Phantom Hourglass and continue my new game in Final Fantasy Tactics. The first half of Karazhan has achieved MC/BWL farm status to me. Right now I'm farming up Sporeggar rep so I can get a fancy little pet for Exalted reputation.
Overall, I'm good. :) I hit one of my rare depressed/bad mood spells on Sunday, but I'm pretty much over it. I'm not really stressed about any of my plans...just been really busy working on them.
Until next time, can the game mention hemorrhoids enough?

Ew.
Sweet and beloved Friday has arrived! Actually this week has gone by pretty darn fast with all of the stuff that has been going on.
Nikki and I managed to spend $1300 on trendy IKEA furniture. I have nothing but wonders to say about that IKEA. It's fucking HUGE! I even had the pleasure of devouring a huge plate of swedish meatballs and about 8 glasses of Lingonberry Juice. We spent most of Monday crafting the stuff and I made the last piece on Wednesday. It's nice to actually have a really nice futon to sit on in the living room and a 7 piece entertainment center to put all of my fun action figures on. Oh! My Macbook looks made for our coffee table which is this kick ass frosted glass rectangle with white metal legs. I just need a turtle neck and some chai! Pics soon coming.
The end of the quarter is November 2nd and I just spent about an hour and a half writing up 2 weeks of plans(15 lesson plans). So now I can relax a little bit for the rest of my planning block. Hence this entry. Finally starting to really get into the groove of planning this type of scheduling and coming up with my own tempo/style of lessons.
The Halloween boss in WoW is kinda neat. Fuller really needs to get the plate helm because it just looks fucking hardcore on a tauren. ZA PLZ.
This weekend Nikki and I will go out for some more apartment shopping stuff. We need to get guest sheets, pillow, towels, etc since our place is starting to get enough stuff to entertain and host. I'm going to use this time to make my preorder on Phoenix Wright : Ace Attorney III : Trials and Tribulations (Take that Logan I remembered the whole thing) and perhaps sneak in another purchase of the gaming variety.
Oh, those who are curious for the apartment phone number I can hook you up since I wrote it down like 6 times so I wouldn't forget.
Until next time, I'm so thinking about getting a circular bed at IKEA.

not at the same time...
Horray for Friday. Once more boredom during my planning block has prompted me to write in my journal for my semi-regular updates on this thing. I'll shortly head back to my desk so I can plan out the rest of next week. This term actually ends November 2nd so it's getting close to crunch time to finish up the objectives of this term. For my Social Studies class I have to do the Civil War in essentially 7 days, which isn't impossible...but I need to streamline it so they'll be prepared for the test on the 2nd. Apparently the 5th and 6th are planning days, hopefully I'll at least get out of school early if I do my grades quickly.
Living only 10 minutes from work is very nice it's a stark contrast to the 40 minute drive I used to drive every morning and afternoon when I lived with Nikki's mom.
This weekend Nikki and I will be getting some more furniture for the apartment. We'll be going to IKEA on Saturday. I hope to have at least a couch and an entertainment center for the apartment set up and ready to go by the end of the weekend. Maybe a coffee table depending upon how much we spend on the other 2 things.
Speaking of spending money, I almost bought Persona 3 and Odin Sphere at Gamestop a couple days ago. I decided since I still have Zelda to beat and with Phoenix Wright upcoming the 27th that I would stave it off. (1,2,3...) I think I'm about halfway through Zelda right now and so far it has been a touch easy...but still very enjoyable to play overall due to stylus controls. Sonic is confirmed for Smash Brothers Brawl!
In WoW news, I am very eager for patch 2.3 to come out now. I really want to hit the ZA hard and see some new content. Karazhan has just about reached that Blackwing Lair / Molten Core farm status where I get really distracted and unfocused due to boredom. I also have this new desire to do every heroic instance. Engineering mount and Cenarion Expedition mount are awesome.
30 minutes until my study hall class where I just help students on their homework for an hour and change. Then 2 more classes and I'm DONE. I think I'm going to Nikki's grandparents this evening for dinner, but I'm not sure yet.
Until next time, why can't you just be number two?

At your side, m'lady!
I'm slacking a little during my planning block to type up this journal entry. I've finished about half of my lesson plans for next week and I'm ready to teach today's class. So I decided to veg for a bit :)
This week had kind of flown by and now it's time to hit the curb hardcore moving style. Today I'm going back to the storage unit after school and get a bit more of our stuff that lays dormant. Most importantly the air bed pump. :D You kind of need one of those to make the bed work. Also a craft table and maybe a box or two stuff. While I'm at school Nikki and her mom are going through the stuff in her house right now. Hopefully it'll be almost entirely organized and ready to move Saturday morning.
I need to be at the apartment Saturday so I can meet the Cable/Internet/Phone guy sometime around noon and 3. It doesn't seem impossible for everything to be moved and apartment liveable by Sunday evening. This weekend will be filled with some furniture and grocery shopping also I need to pick up Zelda...I've been slacking on doing that. Just so darn lazy after work that I don't want to stop by the Gamestop and get home later.
Stupid engineering in Warcraft, stuck at 374/375 skill. It will be mine tonight when I get a break!
Oooh! Avatar tonight! Excitement abounds.
Until next time, PALADIN BUFFS > PRIEST BUFFS.

This week is going to be wacky. :D
Nikki and I officially get our keys to the new apartment this afternoon. After school we will start moving some of the more important stuff I got out of storage yesterday. The only unfortunate thing right now is I have yet to get a hold of the power company to get my electricity turned on. I've tried 4 times only to be put on hold for 10+ minutes each time. I will try again this afternoon during lunch and then at the apartment office if necessary. I also need to get a hold of the cable/phone/internet provider so I can get all those done in one shot. My hope is that we will be entirely moved in and settled by the end of this Columbus Day weekend.
The end of this week is interims or progress reports. Most of my students are hovering around the A/B area with only a few actually failing. It's kinda crazy that a month has already passed since being hired. Only 7 more of these to go. :D...
As for the realm of videogames, I have been having a wonderful time on the World that is Warcraft. It's a nice escape from all the grading and planning. I can just sign on and mindlessly skill up my engineering or just have a jovial conversation with my pals in while running an instance or Karazhan. I'm all kinds of hyped about Zul'Aman coming out with the next big patch. Tonight I'll post up a cool picture of my paladin Franziska on her Red Nether Ray from the Sha'tari Skyguard reputation.
Oh! Also after putting the stuff in our apartment, I hope to pick up The Legend of Zelda : Phantom Hourglass this afternoon at the mall. I have seriously neglected my DS since arriving here in VA. I hope that this purchase will inspire me to pick up the system once again and play it a lot like I did during student teaching. I MUST BE A POKEMON MASTER AND DESTROY ZELDA.
Can Smash Brothers Brawl come out already?
OMG KATARA IS LIKE SEX FOR THE EYES. I need to find an icon of her giving Aang the sexy eyes during their dance last episode.
Until next time, troll females have the worst jokes ever.

So another update! This is becoming semi-regular!
I had my first Open House/Parent Teacher Night on Wednesday. I sat at school for two hours and I only had one parent show up out of 3 classes that I had for 7th and 8th grade. The sad thing is that I have one class of 6th grade and their open house is next week. But I'll most likely just stop by for 8 minutes and then leave right after my scheduled meeting of parents. :)
The big news right now is that Nikki and I put a deposit on an apartment yesterday afternoon. The price was really good considering the area and I love the location. It's 2 minutes from a mall and there like 15 resturants that are within 5 minutes also there is a Borders for reading when I'm bored. Any who really knows me can tell that those are huge factors for me. We will be slowly moving in starting October 1st and should hopefully be fully moved in by the end of that weekend or the next.
I'm excited about finally having my own place that's a real apartment and not that dorm+ like Randolph Terrace Apts. Kinda stressed about the logistics of paying utilities/bills and moving all of our stuff from Nikki's mom's house and storage. But luckily we can slowly relocate our stuff since we aren't really being thrown out of Nikki's mom's house.
I am so happy it's Friday right now. :) After everything that I've done this week, I'm more than ready to just sit down in my pajamas in front of my laptop and WoW the weekend away. Oh oh! sleeping for more than 5-6 hours is good.
Until next time, there's a movie theatre 3 minutes away from the apartment too!
